OVERVIEW

As a part of the Rayman Mutation Mod, Witchcraft is a custom mutation created by Rayman himself. It is a total conversion mod that send an immediate horde of witches after you that increases in number over time.
From what I've found it is best to play this in the middle of whatever campaign you choose to play; This is because (everyone should know this!) The auto shotguns are the best weapons against witches in any case! The only thing that sucks is, you can only get auto shotguns in the middle chapters of campaigns. (Unless there's a crazy command I don't know about??

(some one tell me!!)

Regardless, this mod is fucking scary as hell. As someone who plays the Nightmare modpack a lot, and frequents many Horror-based media and discussions, I can say Witchcraft is one of the freakiest mods out there.
I'd highly recommend trying it out on the "Shanty Town" chapter on Swamp Fever. If you can get passed the water and darkness, it is the best and most immersive environment to play this in. Everyone knows witches live in swamps, and this chapter is perfect for that nightmarish immersion.
More on the horror aspect, it's very good at scarying the hell out of you. Evidence by the constant and ever-present screeching and howling of the monsters in the distance, mixed with Yoru's Nightmare Modpack, and the terror of what sprints so close behind you.

This is one of my first attempts in Witchcraft on No Mercy. Playing Witchcraft during a panic event like this elevator section, where you have to wait for your path to be available, is always a challenge, especially when the key to the mode is constant movement.
Being a long-time player of the old COD Zombies games, like World At War, and Black-Ops 1 & 2, one of the big strategies I learned from those games was knowing my way out in times of doubt. Now we're not facing Nazi Zombies anymore, so the strategy has been changed up.
As soon you call the elevator, IMMEDIATELY run out of there; the worst thing you'd want is being cornered in that small area. But remember, you have a bit of time befre the rest of the witches catch up to you, so you have to quickly run back the same way you came in. DO NOT run into any of the rooms to camp. Camping in Witchcraft is for assholes who think their shit don't linger.
The key beyond this point, is to run back down stairs into the main service floor. The plan now, is to wait the 2 and a half minutes for the elevator to arrive. In the meantime, your responsibility here is to hold point. "BuT ShArK, YoU JuSt SaId NoT 2 CaMp". This is not camping, the space is so spread out that it's impossible to stay in one spot and not get screwed. This is actually a great time to practice getting your headshots down. The best thing to do, is keep your mouse stiff, and let the witches run into your crosshair and shoot! And keep an eye on all directions, because some of them can get sly and flank you.
